Instructions - Workshops

During the last two years, I started holding various cartooning and animation workshops with various organizations in the Northen Virginia area. Mostly, these workshops were set up with local libraries in the Northern Virginia region.

The workshop classes are designed for kids between the ages of 8 to young teens. A brief synopsis of each workshop (animation and cartooning) appears below and my workshop schedule appears on the right.

Anime Workshop
Covers a variety of different animation subjects - Disney, Japanese, computer and web animation. Gives brief explanations of how animation is created. Also covers different animation styles, techniques and job descriptions.

Cartooning Workshop
This workshops covers just about anything and everything related to cartooning - from comic books to the web. Discussion includes creating your own character and ways a cartoonist can make a living by drawing funny pictures.

The two workshops can be combined or, if you'd like, a more specialized workshop can be arranged.

Each workshop runs approximately two hours and can easily be adjusted for each organization's needs, wants or requirements.

If your library would like to hold one of these workshops, please contact me for fees and other information here:
