Summary

Chris is a seasoned web, graphic and UI/UX front end designer. For the last several years, Chris has been an integral part of the U.S. Army Digital Media Division designing web sites for multiple Medal of Honor recipients, several key micro sites and conceptualizing and designing various parts of CORE – the U.S. Army’s custom built content management system.

Additionally, Chris has over twenty years of print and web design experience in both Mac and PC
environments. Chris has also worked with a multitude of clients, including advertising agencies, national magazines and direct mail consulting firms.

Chris has an active Secret Security Clearance and does not foresee any difficulties a future TS/SCI clearance.

Professional Experience

Link Solutions, Inc. – 6/2017 to Current
Web and UI/UX Designer – U.S. Army Digital Media Division

  1. Primary current responsibilities include conceptualizing and designing several sections of the U.S.
    Army’s custom content management system, CORE. Some of these sections include:
    – Designing a custom media library
    – Conceptualizing and wire framing a CMS Tag Manager
    – UI/UX design for a WYSIWYG interface for importing photos and PDFs
    – Designing an image light box for uploading and cropping images
  2. Has designed multiple Medal of Honor micro sites
  3. Conceptualized and designed the U.S. Army Families micro site

  • UI/UX Full Stack designer for the Ready.gov web site
  • Redesigned the GSA Rate Per Diem table – the highest trafficked GSA web page
    Redesigned and maintained various GSA web pages utilizing Drupal Content Management System

Head of web graphics and UI/UX design for USMC – PM Ammo
Utilizing Axure, Bootstrap, FontAwesome, Adobe Creative Suite Programs, DNN & Telerik:

  • Redesigned and updated the UI/UX of multiple USMC-PM Ammo web applications
  • Designed all UI/UX mock-ups utilizing hand sketches, Axure, Fireworks, Photoshop and Illustrator

Utilizing WordPress, CSS, Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator and InDesign:

  • Designed template for the entire US Embassy redesigned website project
